Actress and avid twitter user, Demi Moore received a message from awoman on her page, that read: "Getting a knife, a big one that issharp. Going to cut my arm down the whole arm so it doesn't wastetime." Demi herself, afraid that the threat was a serious onere-posted the message but attached "hoping you are joking" to the endon her Twitter page and was followed up by calls to the police. LaterDemi wrote on her page "Everyone I was very torn about responding orretweeting that woman's post but felt uncomfortable just letting itgo." Its surpising that something as simple as twitter can save apersons life. Sergeant Ronnie Lopez said the woman had not sufferedany injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for a "psychiatricevaluation" and is now recieving help via suicide.org and reached outto Demi thanking her and everyone else for opening her eyes.
